Matt Holman is a transactional lawyer whose practice encompasses a broad range of corporate and business matters, including mergers and acquisitions, transaction financing, real estate transactions, corporate governance and compliance, business entity formation and organization, and venture capital and capital markets.
A portion of his practice is devoted to representing energy and oil and gas companies in a broad range of matters, including oil and gas asset sales and acquisitions, joint operating agreements, oil and gas leases, and other contracts.
Matt graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arkansas School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor. Matt was a member of the Arkansas Law Review, served on the executive committee of the Student Bar Association, and was honored with the Charles Thomas Pearson Fellowship and Scholarship. In addition, he received the School’s Business Law Certificate and worked as a Legal Research and Writing teaching assistant.
Matt also holds a bachelor of business administration degree in finance from the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas. - Represented a Tulsa-based real estate company in a complex, $8.2 million refinancing transaction involving a multi-family apartment complex located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
- Represented Royal Mfg Co, one of the nation’s leading manufacturers and marketers of lubricants and greases, in the sale of its operating assets and real estate in Texas and Oklahoma to an affiliate of Europe-based AXEL Christiernsson.
