Matt Holman is a transactional lawyer whose practice encompasses a broad range of corporate and business matters, including mergers and acquisitions, transaction financing, real estate transactions, corporate governance and compliance, business entity formation and organization, and venture capital and capital markets.
A portion of his practice is devoted to representing energy and oil and gas companies in a broad range of matters, including oil and gas asset sales and acquisitions, joint operating agreements, oil and gas leases, and other contracts.
Matt graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arkansas School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor. Matt was a member of the Arkansas Law Review, served on the executive committee of the Student Bar Association, and was honored with the Charles Thomas Pearson Fellowship and Scholarship. In addition, he received the School’s Business Law Certificate and worked as a Legal Research and Writing teaching assistant.
Matt also holds a bachelor of business administration degree in finance from the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas. Prior to attending law school, Matt worked as a credit analyst for an Arkansas-based bank, where he gained valuable experience and insights in the areas of regulatory compliance, commercial lending, bankruptcy, foreclosures, and real estate.Download Bio (PDF)
