Miranda Harrison is a trial and appellate lawyer who practices in both Oklahoma state and federal district courts. As part of her broad-based civil litigation practice, Miranda has been successful in achieving favorable results for clients across several industries and in numerous areas, including energy and oil and gas litigation, environmental, complex business and commercial divorces, creditors’ rights, directors’ and officers’ liability, commercial litigation, secured transactions, estate planning, probate, real estate, trade secrets, and aircraft transaction disputes.
Miranda’s achievements have earned her inclusion in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America (bankruptcy litigation; commercial litigation; environmental litigation; trusts and estates).
After earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma, Miranda worked for Feed the Children, an international nonprofit organization, in its Gifts-in-Kind and Public Relations department. Inspired by her experience there, she pursued law school, driven by a continued passion for helping others. During law school, she obtained her limited license to practice law, allowing her to gain valuable courtroom experience before graduating.
Prior to joining McAfee & Taft, Miranda worked at Blaney Tipton Hiersche & Odom, PLLC, in Oklahoma City.
