Mischelle D. Reynolds

Paralegal

As a paralegal for the firm’s Litigation Group, Mischelle Reynolds provides comprehensive legal support to trial lawyers whose practices are on focused on complex civil litigation, class actions, tort litigation, and high-exposure product liability litigation. Her responsibilities include drafting and filing pleadings, conducting research, reviewing discovery, coordinating and responding to discovery requests, coordinating experts and witnesses, preparing and organizing documents and exhibits for trial, and assisting attorneys at trial.

Mischelle is a U.S. Air Force veteran who served for more than 20 years. Her military career service included working as a military justice paralegal at Mountain Air Force Base in Idaho, as a civil and international law paralegal at Kunsan Air Base in South Korea, and as a tort claims and litigation lead paralegal for the Air Force Legal Services Agency in Arlington, Virginia.

While on active duty, Mischelle earned two associate’s degrees – one in paralegal studies and the other in aircrew operations – from Community College of the Air Force at Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, Alabama. She later went on to earn an associate’s degree in criminal justice and a bachelor’s degree in legal studies from Maryville University of Saint Louis in St. Louis, MO.

After retiring from the military in 2008, Mischelle gained additional legal experience working for private practice law firms in South Carolina and Missouri in the fields of workers’ compensation defense, business and corporate law, and tax and estate planning. Immediately prior to joining McAfee & Taft in 2021, she worked as a regulatory compliance coordinator for a Springfield-based health insurance company.
