Rhema Brodie-Mends is a corporate attorney who represents clients in a broad range of business and transactional matters, including business entity formation, contract drafting and review, mergers and acquisitions and related due diligence, divestitures, and transaction financing arrangements. She also counsels public and private clients, including banks and other financial institutions, on a myriad of corporate governance, compliance, and operational matters.
The Oklahoma native graduated summa cum laude with her bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from Liberty University in 2020 and her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center in 2025. While in law school, she served as staff editor of the Georgetown Law Technology Review, worked as a student attorney for the Racial Equity in Education Law and Policy Clinic, held leadership positions in the Georgetown African Law Society and Immigration Law Student Association, and was an active member of the Black Law Students Association. She also earned a CALI Award for academic excellence for her work with the Racial Equity in Education Law and Policy Clinic.
Prior to attending law school, Rhema worked as a legal assistant for an Oklahoma-based accounting, financial services, and tax resolution firm.
