
Robert Clougherty is a transactional lawyer whose practice encompasses a broad range of business and commercial matters, including contract negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, corporate financing, business entity formation and organization, and real estate transactions and financing.
Robert earned his bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University and graduated with highest honors from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2020. While in law school, he served as a legal intern at a Fortune 500 company, was recognized by TU Law for the pro bono hours he provided to the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Eastern District of Oklahoma, and served as an editor of the Tulsa Law Review.
The Oklahoma native is a U.S. Navy veteran, having served as a member of the special operations forces/dive division of a nuclear submarine for five years prior to entering law school. During his time in the Navy, Robert was a four-time recipient of the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. He was also recognized for his service by being named USS Ohio’s Junior Sailor of the Year and Squadron 19 Junior Sailor of the Quarter.

- Represented Global Technology Partners, LLC, a U.S.-based prepaid card processor in Africa, in connection with the sale of its business to MFS Africa UK Holdings Limited, the operator of the largest digital payments network in Africa.
- Represented Reasor’s LLC, an Oklahoma-based grocery store chain with operations at 17 locations in northeastern Oklahoma, in connection with the sale of its business to Brookshire Grocery Company, a regional grocery store chain with operations at more than 180 locations in Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas.
