Tanner Pool is a corporate lawyer who represents clients in a broad range of business, transactional, and compliance matters, including business entity selection and formation, contract negotiations and drafting, asset and stock mergers and acquisitions, transaction financing, corporate governance and compliance matters, commercial lending, and securities and capital raising.
As part of his real estate practice, Tanner represents clients in the buying, selling, leasing, lease-back, developing, and financing of improved and unimproved real property, including the negotiation and documentation of purchase and sale agreements, title and survey diligence, and regulatory compliance.
Tanner graduated magna cum laude from the Oklahoma City University School of Law, where he served as assistant resource editor of the Oklahoma City University Law Review, worked as an intern in the Advanced American Indian Wills Clinic, and served as vice president of both the Christian Legal Society and Federalist Society. He was also the recipient of five CALI Awards for academic excellence and a member of the Phi Delta Phi honor society.
Prior to embarking on a legal career, Tanner worked as a family service specialist for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services for four years.
