
Prior to retiring from McAfee & Taft in 2010, Theodore Elam concentrated his practice in corporate and securities matters and served as lead counsel in numerous public and private offerings of securities, mergers and acquisitions, tender offers and other forms of financing involving enterprises engaged in the telecommunications, energy, mortgage banking, mortgage lending, retailing, insurance and real estate business.
During the course of his distinguished career, Ted was a frequent lecturer at legal seminars and also served as an assistant professor of business law and an adjunct professor of business planning, securities regulation, and corporate finance at the University of Oklahoma College of Law.
Over the years, Ted’s achievements earned him inclusion in the Chambers USA Guide to America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, The Best Lawyers in America (corporate law), Oklahoma Super Lawyers, Who’s Who in America, and Who’s Who in the South and Southwest.
