Prior to his retirement from McAfee & Taft in 2026, patent attorney Bill Hall represented and counseled clients in all areas of intellectual property law, including patents, trade secrets, trademarks, copyrights, licensing agreements, and IP portfolio management.
Bill’s achievements in patent law earned him inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America. He was also named to BTI Consulting Group’s exclusive list of BTI Client Service All-Stars in 2024 and was a four-time recipient of Lexology’s Client Choice Award, which recognizes lawyers worldwide who provide excellence in client care and quality of service.
Prior to joining McAfee & Taft in June 2001, he was senior counsel for Conoco, Inc., where he had worked for 10 years counseling clients in all areas of intellectual property and providing legal counsel relating to the Internet and computer law.
