Yanira Sanchez


As a paralegal with the firm’s Tax and Family Wealth Group, Yanira Sanchez works with attorneys involved in wealth transfer tax planning for families and individuals, business planning for closely held family businesses, business entity formation, formation and administration of tax-exempt organizations, tax structuring of complex business transactions, the settlement and litigation of disputes regarding wills and trusts, guardianship matters, general tax planning for businesses and individuals, and local, state and federal taxation.

Since embarking on a legal career in 2000, the Chicago native has worked as an in-house paralegal for two major insurance companies and as a paralegal for law firms in both Chicago and Oklahoma City. Over the course of her career, she has gained valuable experience in the fields of commercial litigation, real estate, estate planning and corporate law.

Yanira earned a professional diploma in legal office assisting from Robert Morris College in 2000 and went on to graduate with an associate of applied science degree in paralegal studies two years later.
