For the third year in a row, McAfee & Taft was awarded a national ranking in the category of Oil & Gas Litigation in the exclusive Chambers USA Guide to America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. McAfee & Taft was one of only 18 firms in the United States and the only firm in Oklahoma to receive such recognition in the publication’s recently released 2026 edition. The firm’s Band 2 national ranking places it among a number of AmLaw 100 firms, including Holland & Knight, K&L Gates, Norton Rose Fulbright, and Vinson & Elkins.
Additionally, trial lawyers Tim Bomhoff, Laura Long, and Patrick Stein were three of only 53 lawyers in the United States to be singled out for individual inclusion in the national ratings.
The researchers and publishers of the exclusive legal publication also awarded a top Band 1 rating to the firm’s energy practice in the category of Energy and Natural Resources in Oklahoma and highlighted shareholders Tim Bomhoff, Laura Long, Patrick Stein, and Todd Woolery for individual recognition. Bomhoff, a veteran trial lawyer with 38 years of experience, also holds the distinction of being the only attorney in Oklahoma to be awarded an individual Band 1 rating in the area of Energy and Natural Resources.
