Corporate attorney Sam Roberts joins McAfee & Taft

McAfee & Taft, Oklahoma’s largest law firm, welcomes transactional attorney Sam Roberts as the newest member of its Business Transactions and Finance and Securities practice groups. Roberts is a corporate attorney whose practice encompasses the areas of business transactions and financing, corporate and securities law, and corporate governance and compliance matters, with an emphasis on stock and asset mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and private equity and venture capital investments.
Roberts earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma before going on to graduate with honors from the University of Texas School of Law, were he served as staff editor of the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas and Energy Law.
Prior to joining McAfee & Taft, the Oklahoma native worked as a corporate associate in the Houston office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
