Presented by the Northeast Oklahoma Regional Alliance, the 8th Annual NORA Summit brings together community and business leaders from across northeast Oklahoma for a one-day event designed to promote leadership development, economic development, and collaboration within the region.
In a breakout session titled “Financing Community Projects,” McAfee & Taft attorney Cheryl Denney joins a panel of community development leaders and finance experts to discuss innovative techniques and tools for financing infrastructure and other major community projects and programs. As one of the state’s leading authorities on economic development law, Denney’s presentation and comments focus on the various tax credits and government incentives available to communities and project developers.
Based in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, NORA is dedicated to the growth, prosperity and vitality of the 14 counties comprising northeast Oklahoma by promoting regionalism throughout the area, leveraging regional resources, recognizing common issues and identifying collaborative solutions, expanding regional networks, and communicating its regional story.”
