What do you do when the troops can’t be home for the holidays? You send a little taste of home to them.

Acting on a request from a U.S. Army officer who had previously received care packages from the firm and wanted to share the love with his fellow soldiers, McAfee & Taft rallied its own troops to spread some cheer to a group of troopers deployed on the other side of the world this holiday season. When all was said and done, 39 boxes of candy, hot chocolate, Nerf footballs, popcorn, Chex Mix, Christmas cookies, and various other holiday snacks were packaged and shipped overseas.

Overseeing the effort at the firm were organizers Jane Henson and April Whalen, with extra special assistance from Donna Ross, Beth Garner, Donna Bennett, Hilary Clayborn, Sandina Heckert, Tim Blake and Brad Kelley.

McAfee & Taft wishes to thank all U.S. military servicemen and servicewomen for their service to our country, particularly those deployed overseas who are not able to make it home for the holidays.
