Frank Hill and Elizabeth Dalton Named 2010 Oklahoma City ‘Lawyers of the Year’
Best Lawyers, the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession, has named McAfee & Taft attorneys Frank D. Hill and Elizabeth L. Dalton as “Lawyers of the Year.” Only a single lawyer in each legal practice specialty in each community is being honored as the “Lawyer of the Year.”
Hill, a firm shareholder and a veteran attorney with substantial experience and expertise in all aspects of business transactions and real estate law, was named “Oklahoma City Best Lawyers Real Estate Lawyer of the Year.” Dalton, a transactional and healthcare attorney who also serves on the firm’s board of directors, was named “Oklahoma City Best Lawyers Health Care Lawyer of the Year.”
Best Lawyers compiles its lists of outstanding attorneys by conducting exhaustive peer-review surveys in which thousands of leading lawyers confidentially evaluate their professional peers. The current, 16th edition of The Best Lawyers in America (2010), is based on more than 2.8 million detailed evaluations of lawyers by other lawyers. The lawyers being honored as “Lawyers of the Year” were selected because, during the past two surveys, they received particularly high ratings from most of their peers.
McAfee & Taft is Oklahoma’s largest law firm, serving clients throughout the region, nationally and internationally in the areas of aviation, business law, corporate and securities, employee benefits, energy, entertainment, environmental law, healthcare, intellectual property, labor and employment, litigation, real estate, and tax and family wealth. The firm employs 300 Oklahomans, including 153 attorneys, and has offices in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
