Happy Halloween from McAfee & Taft!
After taking a year off due to the pandemic, McAfee & Taft’s Oklahoma City and Tulsa offices went all out on October 26th to provide a frightfully fun trick-or treat experience for children of all ages this year. In addition to an abundance of candy, costumed children were treated to face painting, cotton candy, decorated cookies, stickers, and a myriad of games and prizes. In Oklahoma City, decorated hallways forged a unique trip to Hogwarts with Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, LEGOLAND, the pumpkin patch, a Pac-Man course, and the pages of Dr. Seuss and 101 Dalmatians come to life. In Tulsa, the hallways were decorated with themes both fabulously fun and frightening.
Prizes were given to the best group and individual office decorations. In Oklahoma City, the costumed team behind 101 Dalmatians won first place, the 10th floor wizards of Hogwarts took second place, and the Records Management department filed away a third place finish. Paralegal Beth Garner, aka Maleficent and a lover of all things Halloween, won first place in the Best Decorated Office category, and attorney Allison Christian stole the show in the Best Costume category for her portrayal of the notoriously fashionable villain Cruella De Vil. In Tulsa, Hannah O’Keefe, Maria Gutierrez, Anna DeShazo and Cheryl Culwell won first place by creating a fabulous fall theme, and the IT department set up a crime scene that won second place.
