Happy Halloween from McAfee & Taft!

October 31, 2022

In just a few years’ time, McAfee & Taft’s annual Trick-or-Treat event has already become one of its most loved and highly anticipated traditions, as well as a showcase of creativity, imagination, and fun.

Once again, McAfee & Taft’s Oklahoma City and Tulsa offices provided a fun and wonder-filled trick-or treat experience for children of all ages.  In addition to going door-to-door collecting candy, costumed children were treated to face painting, games and prizes, photo booths, cotton candy and cookies, photo booths, and amazing walks down decorated hallways.

In Tulsa, children could follow the yellow brick road to Oz, escape to the world of Harry Potter, or enjoy spooky fun amidst the cobwebs, witches and jack-o-lanterns.  In Oklahoma City, trick-or-treaters took sensory-filled walks through hallways and offices featuring costumed characters and sporting themes such as Mario Brothers, Cookie Monster, Gingerbread House, Under the Sea, Harry Potter, Aircraft City Superheroes, Batman and Gotham City, Willy Wonka, football, and Halloween ghosts, goblins and witches.

In Oklahoma City, prizes were given to the best group and individual office decorations and best individual costume.  The 9th floor litigation team that made Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory come to life enchanted their way to a first place finish, the 12th floor heroes and villains of Gotham City battled their way to take second place, and the Aviation Group team of superheroes conquered the competition to win third.  Beth Garner won first place in the Best Decorated Office category, followed by Michael McClintock and Lisa Jones.  Newcomer Shawn Hester took the prize for Best Costume.
