Kathy Neal inducted into the TU College of Law Hall of Fame

In honor of her distinguished contributions to the legal profession and her tireless support of the University of Tulsa College of Law, McAfee & Taft attorney Kathy Neal was inducted into TU Hall of Fame at the Law Alumni Gala held at the Gilcrease Museum on May 16, 2015.

She was also honored with the W. Thomas Coffman Award for Community Service, which is presented to law school alumni who have distinguished themselves in the legal field or other chosen profession at an exemplary level and who embody the high ethical standards and commitment to community service TU College of Law seeks to instill in its graduates.

In addition to her active practice in the fields of labor and employment law and commercial litigation, Kathy serves as an administrative law judge for the Oklahoma Department of Labor and as an adjunct settlement judge for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma. She is the 2013 recipient of the Tulsa County Bar Association’s Neil E. Bogan Award for Professionalism and was named to the 2011 inaugural list of Power Attorneys and Legal Professionals by the Tulsa Business Journal. In 2005, she was awarded the Fern Holland Award by The University of Tulsa College of Law Women’s Law Caucus for her work with Springboard — Educating the Future, a non-profit organization responsible for building 200 schools for young girls in rural Egypt.
