Kyle Bertholf joins McAfee & Taft

McAfee & Taft, the state’s largest law firm, has named Kyle R. Bertholf as its new chief financial officer.

In his new role, Bertholf oversees the financial and accounting functions of the firm and is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, operational analysis, internal controls, and tax information reporting.

Bertholf began his career in public accounting, working as an auditor with Grant Thornton for three years before leaving to become the controller of a start-up energy services company and most recently was the chief financial officer of an Oklahoma-based oilfield services company for five years.  He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting from the University of Oklahoma and is a certified public accountant. He is a member of the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
