Attorneys Jared Giddens and Kiran Phansalkar were interviewed for a July 28, 2026, article in Law360 about their recent move to McAfee & Taft from the law firm of Conner & Winters on July 1, 2026. The two, along with colleagues Dillon Curran, Preston Sullivan, Beth Attaway and Matt Peace, elected to join McAfee & Taft following their former firm’s announcement to merge with Spencer Fane LLP.
Both Giddens and Phansalkar cited their familiarity with McAfee & Taft lawyers, as well as their respect for the firm and its full-service legal offerings as a major factor in choosing McAfee & Taft.
“I’ve practiced with and against McAfee lawyers my entire career and know them to be well-prepared, many best in class, and always professional,” said Giddens. “I’ve also observed the direction and growth of the firm over the last 10+ years to not only be impressive but sustainable and client-oriented.”
“I think the horsepower the firm has in the areas I specialize in will only bring faster and even better results for the client,” said Phansalkar. “Nearly 100% of my clients followed me in my move, and those with whom I’ve worked have been extremely excited that I am now part of the best law firm in the state.”
The article also mentioned the recent arrival of patent attorneys James Lea and David Woodral, trial lawyer Barbara Moschovidis, and technology attorney Robin Meyer.
