McAfee & Taft adds aviation paralegal Ilaria Capasso
McAfee & Taft, the state’s largest law firm, has announced the addition of Ilaria Capasso as a paralegal for the firm’s worldwide aircraft financing, title and registration practice. In her new role, Capasso works to ensure client interests in aircraft, engines and helicopters are protected and in compliance with both the Federal Aviation Administration and the Cape Town Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment and the Aircraft Protocol.
Capasso brings 13 years of experience working for transactional attorneys engaged in all facets of real estate law as well as aircraft sales, leasing, financing, title and registration law. She graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in comparative studies from Instituto Universitario Orientale in Naples, Italy, in 2003. Upon moving to Oklahoma in 2006, she worked as a docket clerk for the Oklahoma Corporation Commission before embarking on a career in the legal industry the following year. Capasso is fluent in Italian, English and Japanese.
