McAfee & Taft adds litigation paralegal Kristina Derr
McAfee & Taft, the state’s largest law firm, has announced the addition of Kristina Derr, ACP, as a paralegal for the firm’s Litigation Group. In this role, she is responsible for providing comprehensive legal support to trial lawyers engaged in the representation of some of the nation’s largest manufacturers of consumer and commercial products in high-stakes product liability, mass torts, class action, and multidistrict litigation.
Derr brings 19 years of extensive experience in a broad range of legal areas, including products liability, personal injury, construction, insurance defense, and oil and gas litigation. She earned her bachelor’s degree in legal studies from Metropolitan College in 2005 and her certified paralegal (CP) and advanced certified paralegal (ACP) credentials from the National Association of Legal Assistants in 2009 and 2011, respectively.
