McAfee & Taft adds litigation paralegal Lori Wilson
McAfee & Taft, the state’s largest law firm, has announced that Lori Wilson has joined the firm’s Litigation Group as a paralegal. In her new role, she provides comprehensive legal support to trial lawyers engaged in a broad range of business-related litigation in state and federal courts as well as commercial arbitration. Her responsibilities, which focus on dispute resolution from inception to conclusion, include conducting research, reviewing plaintiff discovery, coordinating and responding to discovery requests, maintaining case files, docketing and scheduling, preparing and organizing documents and exhibits for trial, drafting and filing pleadings, and assisting attorneys at trial.
Wilson brings more than 18 years of experience working in the legal industry. She began her career as a legal secretary and most recently worked as a litigation paralegal for the City of Oklahoma City for 16 years. Wilson holds bachelor’s degrees in both English and education from Oklahoma City University and a legal assistant certificate from the University of Oklahoma.
