Mitzi Hammond joins McAfee & Taft as litigation paralegal

Mitzi Hammond has joined McAfee & Taft, the state’s largest law firm, as a paralegal for the firm’s Litigation Group in its Tulsa office.

Mitzi Hammond provides comprehensive support to trial lawyers engaged in complex civil litigation in state and federal courts nationwide, particularly in the areas of mass torts, multi-district litigation, class actions, and high-profile product liability litigation involving the defense of major pharmaceutical, medical device and automotive manufacturers.

Mitzi earned her paralegal certification from Southern Technical College and brings with her 20 years of legal experience, having previously worked at law firms in Kansas, Georgia and Alabama before moving to Oklahoma this year. She has extensive experience in the area product liability litigation and has also provided paralegal support to lawyers engaged in the practice of family law and the defense of the Federal Employers Liability Act cases.
