Oklahoma Workers’ Compensation Update

Oklahoma Association of Community Action Agencies

In his presentation titled “Workers’ Compensation Update,” labor and employment attorney Paul Ross reviews the landmark workers’ compensation reform legislation passed by the Oklahoma Legislature earlier this year. Most notably, the law replaces the state’s long-standing court-based system with an administrative one and offers employers three options for providing workers’ compensation coverage and benefits and for handling claims filed on our after February 1, 2014.

The Oklahoma Association of Community Action Agencies provides poverty-related education, information and technical assistance to Community Action Agencies across the state.
