Papahronis, Prince to Speak at SWBA Workshop in Tulsa

John A. Papahronis and James C. Prince, shareholders and employee benefits attorneys with the law firm of McAfee & Taft, will be featured speakers at  the SouthWest Benefits Association’s upcoming “Plan Administrator Skills” workshop scheduled for February 17th at the Tulsa Crowne Plaza in Tulsa, OK.

Co-sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service, this one-day workshop features presentations from leading legal experts in the field of employee benefits law, as well as representatives from the IRS and U.S. Department of Labor.

Papahronis will be a featured presenter on the topic of “Correcting Plan Defects and Administrative Errors.  His law practice encompasses the entire range of employee benefit services, including qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, executive incentives and deferred compensation arrangements, legal compliance and fiduciary counseling and health and welfare plans.  In addition, he has particular experience and expertise counseling employers on health and welfare plan compliance and administrative matters, including COBRA, HIPAA and cafeteria plans.

Prince will serve as moderator of the all-day event.  His law practice is concentrated in the representation of employers, employee benefit plans and individuals primarily in the areas of ERISA, taxation and corporate law.  He has extensive experience in representing clients in matters involving the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Labor.
