Paralegals Jessica DeLoera, Lindsey Brown join firm
In these roles, both will provide comprehensive paralegal support for attorneys whose practices are concentrated on resolving complex energy, oil & gas disputes at the state, federal and appellate levels. Their primary responsibilities, which focus on trial preparation from inception to conclusion, include case management, document review and management, conducting research, coordinating and responding to discovery requests, scheduling and summarizing depositions, preparing and filing pleadings, docketing, preparing and organizing documents and exhibits for trial, and assisting attorneys at trial.
DeLoera holds an associate’s degree in paralegal studies from Rose State College and began her career in the legal industry in 2014. Prior to joining McAfee & Taft, she worked as a staff supervisor and legal assistant for a multi-state firm specializing in defense litigation, as a litigation paralegal for two Oklahoma-based firms, and as the alternative dispute resolution coordinator for an Oklahoma City firm specializing in complex litigation, mediation and arbitration.
Brown holds an associate’s degree in social science from Rose State College and graduated magna cum laude from Southern Nazarene University with a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership. Brown brings with her 17 years of experience as a legal secretary and paralegal in both private practice and private industry.
