Patrick Stein joins Litigation Group at McAfee & Taft

Patrick L. Stein, a former law clerk for the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, has joined the Litigation Group at McAfee & Taft. His state and federal litigation practice is focused on general civil litigation, including complex commercial litigation.

Upon graduating with highest honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2011, Stein served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joe Heaton, district judge in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma before joining McAfee & Taft. While in law school, he served as a note and comment editor for the Oklahoma Law Review, was a member of the American Association for Justice trial team, and was named to the Order of the Coif.

Stein also holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources from Oklahoma State University, where he graduated summa cum laude in 2008 and was the recipient of the OSU Alumni Association Outstanding Senior Award.
