Creditors’ Rights

Our lawyers vigorously defend the rights and interests of both secured and unsecured creditors in out-of-court workouts as well as bankruptcy proceedings in order to obtain all available remedies. Our clients include individual and corporate creditors, as well as unsecured creditors’ committees appointed by the Bankruptcy Court and clients seated on those committees.

  • Served as counsel to official unsecured creditors’ committees in oil and gas, trucking, healthcare and other bankruptcies
  • Served as counsel for ad hoc committees of secured lenders in trucking and other bankruptcies
  • Served as creditors’ committee counsel in contesting claims of large secured creditors
  • Represented creditors seeking to transfer bankruptcy cases to other districts
  • Served as liquidating agent for rural hospital chain
