Jeff Todd, the co-leader of McAfee & Taft’s Ag & Equine Industry Group and a part-time rodeo cowboy, was profiled in the June 2017 edition of The Rodeo News.

The article recounts how Jeff went from being a college student on a rodeo scholarship at Northwestern Oklahoma State University to becoming one of the nation’s leading ag lawyers who still finds time to rodeo in his spare time. He also currently serves as the president of the Oklahoma High School Rodeo Association and mentors young athletes in the sport.

Much of Jeff’s legal practice is devoted to matters affecting the agriculture and equine industry, including federal crop insurance and agriculture risk coverage program disputes, landowner rights, business disputes involving agricultural producers, water law disputes, wind energy leases, and the purchase, sale and syndication of high-value performance horses and related litigation.
