Tony G. Puckett and Paul A. Ross, labor and employment attorneys with the law firm of McAfee & Taft, will be featured speakers at Lorman Education Services’  upcoming “Fair Labor Standards Act in Oklahoma” seminar scheduled for July 15th at the Crowne Plaza in Oklahoma City.

This one-day seminar will provide Oklahoma employers with a greater understanding of the intricacies of the Fair Labor Standards Act.  Key issues will be thoroughly examined, including which employees are covered, overtime compensation issues, and recording requirements.  The materials and presentations will also provide valuable information and practical insight on enforcement issues, handling FLSA investigations, remedies and penalties.

In his law practice, Ross represents employers in a wide range of labor and employment matters.  His experience includes litigation and arbitration of discrimination, retaliation and wrongful discharge matters, as well as unemployment compensation appeals and management/labor disputes.  Paul also provides advice to employers regarding their responsibilities under federal and state employment laws and assists in the production and review of employee handbooks and policy manuals.
