Spencer Smith joins McAfee & Taft
McAfee & Taft, one of the Southwest’s largest law firms, has announced that Spencer F. Smith has joined the firm as its newest litigation associate.
Prior to joining McAfee & Taft, Smith was an associate in the Austin office of Vinson & Elkins, where his litigation practice included contract, administrative, tort and securities matters. His diverse experience includes representing a wide variety of local, national and international businesses and nonprofit corporations in matters involving challenges to statutes and administrative agency orders and rules, fraud, contract issues, deceptive trade practices, securities law, intellectual property issues, and business torts.
The McAlester native graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1994 and a Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 1998.
