While on the 2016 presidential campaign trail, candidate Trump vowed to make repealing and replacing the Affordable Care Act a top priority. As the newly inaugurated president, though, he’s found resistance from both sides of the aisle, and change has not come quickly.

Speaking at McAfee & Taft’s EmployerLINC17 seminar in Oklahoma City in a presentation titled “The ACA and the Trump Administration: Where we are, where we are going,” employee benefits attorney Brandon Long reviews Trump’s goals in reforming health care and discusses other options to repeal and replace the ACA that have been offered by Republican members of Congress in recent years. The presentation includes a closer look at the major provisions of the American Health Care Act and how it would impact both individuals and employers.
