McAfee & Taft attorney Tony Rahhal was cited in a feature in Sunday’s Oklahoman spotlighting patent attorneys. The article explored the specialized area of intellectual property law, which works with patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets rights.

The feature described the technical background and experience typically required of a patent attorney in addition to a law degree. Patent attorneys are also required to pass patent agents exam administered by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, the article said.

Rahhal told the Oklahoman that he enjoys working with scientists and inventors.

“Whether it’s a large company or individual, it’s nice to help get things running,” Rahhal said. “Many times, patents are built into a successful business.”
