Voir Dire and Closing Arguments – Master Trial Strategies in a Brave New World

American Board of Trial Advocates - San Francisco Chapter's "Masters In Trial" Program

The year 2020 has been a challenging year on so many fronts, causing widespread changes in how people function and interact personally, professionally, and socially.  Clients and jurors aren’t the only ones interpreting and responding to the circumstances around them.  Trial attorneys must also be prepared to respond by altering and adapting their strategies and messaging to maximize results in court.

In “Voir Dire and Closing Arguments – Master Trial Strategies in a Brave New World,” sponsored by the San Francisco chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, nine of the nation’s most successful trial lawyers, including McAfee & Taft trial lawyer Mary Quinn Cooper, give a master class on how to adapt case themes to address current issues in jury selection and closing arguments.  In this Masters in Trial program, Mary demonstrates how to deliver a powerful defense closing and then later joins a panel of attorneys to analyze the “brave new world” challenges facing trial lawyers today.

ABOTA is an invitation-only organization of more than 7,600 of the nation’s premier plaintiff and defense trial attorneys.
